LG Display had the groundbreaking ceremony for the 8th generation LCD panel factory at Guanzhou, China to strengthen the market competitiveness in China. LG Display now holds the capacity to provide Chinese customers high quality products at a suitable time. It also has the global manufacture system to promote differentiated competitive edge in the global market. The 8th generation LCD panel factory in Guanzhou will be operational in the second half of 2014.
